Halloween – Spooky Fog or Wet?

October 23, 2011

With Halloween now fast approaching, many parents will be wanting to take their kids out on the traditional “trick or treatin'” but, what will the weather be like for that spooky night?

Because Halloween is still over a week away, forecasting daily specifics becomes quite difficult due to how dynamic our weather is, however, current models are in agreement that we’ll see a weak ridge of High Pressure over the United Kingdom, whilst at the same time an area of Low Pressure begins working its way into the North-West of the United Kingdom.

So, at the moment it would seem the best places to be Trick or Treating this Halloween will be those further South and East, as rain looks like it’ll be working its way into Scotland, Northern Ireland and North-West England. I’ll update you when things become much clearer closer to the time.
