You’d be forgiven for thinking that Spring has arrived in the United Kingdom, over the past week we’ve been seeing some unusually mild temperatures well into the high teens but unfortunately if you’re a fan of warmer weather, it’s not going to last.

The latest computer models have started to hint at a return to more seasonal, colder weather as we move through into March with snowfall possibly returning to the forecast by the end of next week, at this stage it’s all very uncertain but I’d place a 25% risk of snowfall falling somewhere in the UK next week, predicting where though is impossible at this stage.

We’ll start to see this change early next week with night time temperatures close to or slightly below freezing meaning a frost for some, it’s not until later in the week we see even colder air beginning to filter in and the risk of snow increases.

As ever I’ll continue to monitor the situation and issue updates accordingly.
