During the course of Wednesday fairly clear skies across Southern England will along temperatures to slowly climb through the course of the day whilst at the same time a weather front will advance Eastwards across the country allowing instability to arise, CAPE in the region of 300-600J/KG with a combined LIFT of -2 will allow heavy, slow moving thundery showers to break out quite widely across Southern England and up into the Midlands.
Some of these showers are likely to be on the torrential side meaning flash flooding is a possibility. The showers will begin to die away towards the middle part of the evening.
