Merry Christmas Forecast

December 22, 2012

Other News, Weather Forecasts

The snow risk was never likely to be high for Christmas day and unfortunately if you’re expecting to see some snowfall you’re going to be fairly disappointed.

Christmas day is looking un-seasonal and rather green with temperatures ranging from 4c in the North to 11c in the South. Showers during the early afternoon across Southern counties of Scotland and England will die away in the evening giving way to frost where skies clear through into boxing day.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. We’ll be back with new updates on the 27th December!

And all the very best to you for Christmas and the New Year! Seems none of us are really going to get any of the ‘white stuff’ at all…not even in the foreseeable future: Just seen the reports on all the flooding of recently, and the current forecast is for the”tropical air to be affecting the whole of the UK for AT LEAST the next 10 to 14 days”,with more very mild and wet weather to come! (Up to 13C in places in the South). Drats!!! See in Eastern Europe, they have cars buried by the snow…
